You do not have to die to use your life insurance.
Accelerated benefit riders (ABR) are optional riders at no additional cost that may allow you to access all or part of your death benefit, living, if you are terminally ill, chronically or critically ill , or a critical injury the use of the benefit is unlimited, except in the state of Massachusetts, where the ABR amount for chronic conditions can only be used to pay for expenses incurred for long-term care services qualified term.
Since the benefit has no limits, once you qualify, you can use it for any reason.
The lifetime benefits may be used, among other reasons, for the following:

– Daily care center for adults.
– Home modifications.
– Regular bills.
– Attention in residences for the elderly.
